Start with a short confirm that works in matches, then add one Skill, one assist extension, and a controlled finisher.

Auto Combo And Manual Routes

IGN's supplied mechanics material describes a Magic Series-style Light-to-Medium-to-Heavy structure and notes that the fourth auto-combo hit determines the ending attack. Use the auto route to learn timing, then separate each stage so you understand why the route works.

Assist Extensions

Add an assist only after the solo route is reliable. Choose horizontal coverage for grounded continuation or vertical coverage when the route and position support it. Use the linked fighter pages for source-backed character routes.

Practice Drill

Hit-confirm before resource

Set the dummy to random guard. Begin the route, stop when blocked, and use the resource finisher only when the starter hits. Complete ten correct decisions.

Character Routes

Ready Check

  • Can perform the starter on both sides
  • Stops the route when blocked
  • Can add one Skill without dropping
  • Uses one assist for a defined extension
  • Confirms before spending Super or Ultimate
